DAVID FAUST

David Faust is a skilled fine art painter and artisan specializing in faux painting, murals, and painted floors. As a result of David’s talents, he was asked by the Metropolitan Museum of Art to work on the installation of the period rooms in the British Galleries.

Custom murals, intricate hand-painted stenciling, strié, two-toned glazes, and faux bois are just a few of the techniques that David is accomplished at. In addition to his whimsical and imaginative murals for children’s rooms, he also enjoys creating fine art paintings featuring waterscapes at twilight.

Among David's many completed works to date are a panoramic hallway mural inspired by a Vogue magazine cover, a panoramic monochrome mural of bucolic scenery, and a collection of Japanese-influenced murals depicting soothing elements of nature showcased in a multi-paneled room. Read more about how David uses his detailed eye, skill, and imagination to breathe life into projects of any scale.
