DAVID FAUST

David Faust is a painter and artisan specializing in faux painting, murals, and painted floors. As a result of David’s great talents, he was recently asked by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York to work on the installation of the period rooms in the British Galleries.

Custom murals, intricate hand-painted stenciling, and painted imitation wood known as faux bois are just a few of the techniques he is accomplished at. He also enjoys creating whimsical and imaginative murals for children’s rooms, an addition to his repertoire that emerged after the birth of his daughter.

His finishing abilities also include strié, two-toned glazes, and beyond. Among his many completed works to date is a collection of Japanese-influenced murals depicting soothing elements of nature showcased in a multi-paneled room.
