PANORAMIC HALLWAY MURAL AND PLASTER FINISHES IMPART WARMTH AND INTRIGUE TO A GRAND CONNECTICUT HOME

Nestled in the tranquil countryside of Greenwich, Connecticut, lies this expansive residence designed by Alexander M. Reid. The entryway vestibule welcomes you with textured wall-to-ceiling Venetian plaster in a rich, dark green color, installed by our artisan Patrick Shoemaker.

His artistry extends through to the foyer with cream-hued plaster walls and ceiling as well as the finish on the walls just up the grand staircase on the first floor landing. Overhead, Patrick and his team created a serene, pale green high polish plaster ceiling that reflects light throughout the space.

On the first level, our artisan David Faust hand painted a breathtaking panoramic hallway mural inspired by a vintage Vogue magazine cover that the homeowners admired, making one feel immersed in an extension of the lush garden just outside.
