To soften and set the mood in the dining room of this Central Park West residence, our artisan Sylvie Bilger collaborated with designer Alyssa Kapito to create a faux parchment finish on the walls. This was painted by hand, adding subtle texture for an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere. As a master of faux finishes, Sylvie flawlessly executed this technique, resulting in a gently mottled appearance with layers of depth that is luminous, timeless, and timeworn.
