POLISHED FAUX BIRCH BARK PLASTER IN THE HILFIGER CORAL HOUSE

In collaboration with Rinfret Ltd., SuperStrata artisan Patrick Shoemaker covered the living room walls of Tommy and Dee Hilfiger’s Palm Beach oasis in a custom polished plaster finish that echoes some of the ceiling’s wood elements. This particular finish also includes powdered pigments and organic aggregate similar to cocciopesto, which has small pieces of clay that smear when troweled, creating a look of birch bark.
